STRUGGLES/FAITH CHALLENGES

How many times have you promised yourself—or God—that you wouldn’t fall into that same sin again? Maybe it’s anger, gossip, addiction, doubt, or some other struggle that keeps rearing its head. You repent, you pray, you try harder… and yet, you fall. Again.
If you’ve ever wondered if God has had enough of your failures, let me tell you the truth: He hasn't given up on you- and He never will!
Lamentations 3:22-23 says,
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”
That means no matter how many times you’ve messed up, God is not standing over you with a tally of your wrongs. He’s not saying, “That’s it, you’ve hit your limit.” His mercy resets every single morning. Not because we deserve it—but because that’s who He is!
God’s mercy is not a limited resource. It’s infinite, just like His love!
We are often quick to give up on ourselves. But God never does. He sees the whole story of your life. He sees your potential, your desire to grow, and your heart that still turns toward Him—even when you stumble. That’s why Romans 5:8 reminds us, “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Even in our worst moments, His love was already reaching out. Isn't that good news!
Now, does this mean we should keep making the same mistakes without caring? No. True repentance brings change. But grace gives us room to grow. God’s love doesn’t excuse sin—but it empowers us to overcome it. His Spirit is working in us, even when progress feels slow.
If you’re stuck in a cycle of guilt and shame, let today be the day you lay it all down. Not because you’re strong—but because He is! Come back to the Father. You are not too far gone. You are not too broken. You are not too late.
You are deeply, endlessly, unconditionally loved!
